Dr. Arash Hakhamian travels to Mexico along with numerous other volunteers and even students to not only provide free dental work to selected patients in Mexico but to also teach other dentists and surgeons how to perform dental implants, bone grafting, extractions and other advanced procedures. “By providing a mechanism to teach other dentists and help patients at the same time, we are able to achieve multiple accomplishments that will enable the patients to live better lives but also allow these clinicians the tools they need to better serve their patients for years to come, explains Dr. Arash. Through sponsorship with various implant companies such as Dentis USA and collaborations with teaching organizations such as the Global Dental Implant Academy, all the products, materials and instruments are provided at no charge to the to the patients allowing them to restore their ability to eat and chew properly without having to spend any money one the surgery.
