Dr. Arash works closely with various local community activists as well as dental societies providing education about oral health and also leadership to at risk youth in underprivileged communities. Dr. Arash was recognized as one of the top 40 dentists under 40 years of age and traveled to New York where he and other dentists mentored elementary students about becoming a doctor and also about how to set goals and avoid gangs. Along with the discussions on how to stay on the right path, they also gave out lots of free oral hygiene kits and showed the young students how to properly brush their teeth and floss.
Dr. Arash was quoted as saying ” I believe that it is the responsibility of our generation to make sure the future generations have good mentors and that we cancel out the negative influence of local gangs on our kids. We also need to teach them and educated them about preventative medicine so that they can practice good habits and avoid a lifetime of disease and discomfort.”
